Golden Rules: How to Keep Your Paul Valentine Glow Forever.

You love the look of solid gold but live a fast-paced life between the gym, the beach, and the city office? We got you. At Paul Valentine, we create jewelry that doesn’t just look iconic—it keeps up with your rhythm.

To ensure your favorite pieces—from sunkissed L.A. layers to bold N.Y. statement rings—keep their radiance, we’ve put together everything you need to know about our materials and effortless care.

Jewelry Care 101: Effortless Maintenance for Maximum Shine

Our jewelry is tough, but like everything beautiful, it loves a little attention. Follow these simple
steps to keep your finish looking brand new for years:

1. Last on, first off

Your jewelry should be the finishing touch to your styling. Put your pieces on after applying perfume, hairspray, or body lotion. Chemicals in cosmetics can dull the gold layer over time.

2. Gentle Cleaning

After a long day in the city or at the coast, a soft, dry cloth (ideally microfiber) is usually enough to remove skin oils or dust.

Pro-Tip: For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap. Always dry thoroughly afterward!

3. Proper Storage

When you aren’t wearing your gold, it’s happiest in a dry, dark place. Use your Paul Valentine box or a soft-lined jewelry case to prevent scratches from friction with other metals.

4. Keep it Dry (ish)

While stainless steel is very resilient, we recommend removing your jewelry before swimming in chlorine or saltwater. This prevents the 18k finish from losing its signature "lit-from-within" glow.
