At Paul Valentine, durability is at the heart of our design. To ensure a seamless experience, we distinguish between your statutory rights and our additional brand guarantee.

 

1. Statutory Legal Warranty

In accordance with EU Directive 2019/771, all our products (jewelry and watches) come with a 2-year legal warranty from the date of delivery. This covers any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery. For the first 12 months, the burden of proof rests with us to show the item was not defective at the time of purchase.

 

2. Voluntary Paul Valentine Manufacturer Guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, which remain unaffected, we offer a 2-year commercial guarantee on specific components.

• For Jewelry:
  We cover manufacturing and material defects (e.g., faulty clasps or stones becoming loose under normal wear).
• • Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, scratches, fading of the 18k plating due to chemical contact (perfume, lotions), or accidental breakage.

• For Watches:
  We cover the internal movement, hands, and dial.
• • Exclusions: Battery replacement, crystal (glass) breakage, strap wear (leather or metal), and water damage caused by exceeding the ATM rating or improper use (e.g., leaving the crown open).
  • Voidance: The guarantee is void if the watch has been opened or serviced by an unauthorized third party.
